Single Molecule Workshop

2nd International Workshop on „Single Molecule Detection: Basics and Applications in Life Sciences“

September 30 - October 2, 1996 in Berlin, Germany

Image Single Molecule Workshop 1996

Summary

The workshop was attended by 63 scientists coming from USA, Japan, Europe and Germany. During the three day meeting 5 invited lectures and 15 papers were presented. The program (see below) was completed by a poster session (11 contributions) and a small table top exhibition. The informal atmosphere of the workshop allowed a very effiencent exchange of experience between the participants.

The organizers like to thank the companies ALV GmbH, BASF AG, BiosQuant GmbH, Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH, Hamamatsu Photonics GmbH and PicoQuant GmbH for kindly sponsoring the workshop and allowing the participation of scientists from east europe.
