Fluorescence Course
19th International Course on
“Principles and Applications of Time-resolved Fluorescence Spectroscopy”
November 15-18, 2022, Online Meeting
Summary
We were very happy to hold this year´s international course on “Principles and Applications of Time-resolved Fluorescence Spectroscopy” as an online event welcoming 55 participants from 18 countries. The course filled nearly 30 intense hours of spectroscopy and spectroscopy-related topics. We welcomed Zygmunt "Karol" Gryczynski (Texas Christian University, USA) again as well as three new speakers: Martin Hof from the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry and Ute Resch-Genger as well as Christian Würth from the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) . The course combined not only lectures, but also practical sessions live streamed from the PicoQuant Application Labs in Berlin by our experts Olaf Schulz, Christian Oelsner, and Volker Buschmann. During these sessions a broad range of time-resolved spectroscopy and microscopy experiments on various state-of-the-art instruments and software solutions were explained. Both lectures and practical sessions were highly interactive by design, allowing participants to directly talk or chat with the experts as well as with their peers.
We are looking forward to host such a great fluorescence course again in 2023!
