Novel interferometer-based system for recording Time-Resolved Emission Spectra (TRES)

In collaboration with Micro Photon Devices and PicoQuant, NIREOS SRL has developed an elegant and compact system

NIREOS SRL has recently unveiled an elegant system for mapping a sample’s fluorescence as a function of emission wavelength and decay time with both high temporal and spectral resolution (known under the name TRES). The turn-key system, a result from a collaboration between NIREOS SRL, PicoQuant and Micro Photon Devices, features components from all three companies.

The generated fluorescence photons are detected by a PDM Series detector from Micro Photon Devices, with NIREOS’ compact and ultra-stable GEMINI interferometer providing the spectral resolution, while PicoQuant’s PicoHarp 300, a highly reliable and well proven time-correlated single photon counting unit, brings high temporal resolution to the table.

PicoQuant releases update for EasyTau 2

The version 2.1 update for the system control and analysis package includes some exciting new features

The EasyTau 2 software package is the one-stop solution for both full hardware control of time-resolved luminescence spectrometers from the FluoTime Series as well as for interactive data analysis and fitting. The main feature of the 2.1 EasyTau update is the introduction of time-resolved scans for TRES-like experiments in customized mode.

The update also adds new scripting functions allowing for user input or switching the light source, detector or Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) unit. Version 2.1 and offers some quality of life changes such as starting the measurement of an instrument response function via a separate button, as well as improvements for ASCII export and HTML / PDF reporting functions.

MultiHarp 150 is finalist for the Innovation Award of the LASER World of PHOTONICS

The event timer marks a new generation of timing electronics

We are very excited that our MultiHarp 150 has been announced as finalist for the Innovation Award of the LASER World of PHOTONICS. The MultiHarp 150 is one of PicoQuant's latest developments. It is a high-throughput multichannel event timer and TCSPC unit for quantum optical applications. Its extremely fast signal processing leads to an excellent data throughput via USB 3.0 interface.

The LASER World of PHOTONICS trade fair in Munich will take place June 24 to 27, 2019. Visitors will be able to see the MultiHarp 150 at our booth #216, hall B2. Our specialists at the booth will be happy to answer all questions about this great new device.
