Your future tasks include
- You develop customer-specific software based on our device APIs and support our customers with programming.
- Through direct interaction with customers, you derive requirements for our existing and future products.
- You advise customers on selecting suitable instruments and data analysis methods and assist them with complex technical questions.
- With your expertise, you provide technical support for challenges in the field of optical quantum technologies.
- You are willing to travel worldwide for customer visits and on-site support.
Your profile
- You hold a completed degree (ideally with a PhD) in physics, engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- You have in-depth knowledge and practical experience in single-photon counting, both on the hardware and software side, within optical quantum technologies.
- You possess a strong understanding of the physical principles and experimental setups in optical quantum technology.
- Experience in programming (e.g., Python or C++) for controlling measurement systems and data analysis is an advantage.
- You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken, as you regularly act as an interface between customer needs and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel completes your profile (obtaining a U.S. visa is required to perform this role).
- You have experience solving complex problems in a creative and structured way.
- A strong customer-oriented mindset characterizes your thinking and actions.
