What if you could control a fluorescence microscope simply by talking to an AI assistant? PicoQuant demonstrates how this becomes possible by connecting Claude, an AI assistant developed by Anthropic, to the Luminosa microscope through its LumiPy Python interface.
Using natural language instructions, Claude controls FLIM measurements, identifies regions of interest, initiates additional measurements, analyzes fluorescence data, and generates a draft scientific report. The demonstration highlights how Luminosa and LumiPy enable flexible, AI-assisted microscopy workflows that connect data acquisition, analysis, and documentation.
