Today, September 13, 2024, we accepted the last order for the PicoHarp 300 – exactly 20 years after the sale of the very first unit. As the first USB-based TCSPC (Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting) device on the market, the PicoHarp 300 has made a significant contribution to PicoQuant’s success. Found in countless scientific institutions around the world, its impact is also reflected by at least 2,000 scientific publications.
Although the PicoHarp 300 will remain an essential tool in many laboratories for years to come due to its reliability, we are now discontinuing its production. Its worthy successor, the PicoHarp 330, has already started to take its place. The PicoHarp 330 has the potential not only to build on the success of its predecessor but also to carry TCSPC into a promising future.
