PicoQuant present latest innovations at SPIE Photonics West 2016

Innovations and highlights will be on display at booth #8612 (BiOS, West Hall), #4854 (North Hall) and #811 (South Hall)

From February 13 to 18, 2016, PicoQuant will present innovations and highlights from its product portfolio along with the latest developments in the field of pulsed laser sources at the SPIE Photonics West conference in San Francisco at the booths #8612 (BiOS, West Hall), #4854 (North Hall), and #811 (South Hall).

This years displayed highlights include:

  • MicroTime 200 STED, a time-resolved confocal fluorescence microscope with super-resolution capability providing later resolutions below 50 nm and supporting a large variety of time-resolved methods such as FLIM, FCS, FCCS, FLCS, FRET, and FLIM-FRET.
  • The Solea super-continuum laser, offering an extended spectral range from 480 to 900 nm and output powers of more than 750 mW.
  • The VisIR and VisUV picosecond pulsed lasers, based on a platform that can be configured to output several discreet emission wavelengths between 266 nm and 1530 nm with average power levels of up to several watts and up to 3 separate beam outputs.
  • The neoMOS laser, presented in cooperation with the company neoLASE, is a 70 ps laser with pulse on demand and burst capability providing an average power of up to 15 W at 1 MHz and pulse energies of up to 250 µJ at 1064 nm.
  • Single photon sensitive detectors with timing resolutions in the picosecond range, including photomultiplier tubes (PMA Series), hybrid photomultiplier detector assemblies (PMA Hybird Series) and single photon avalanche diodes (PDM Series).

Furthermore, senior scientists from PicoQuant will hold talks on advanced excitation pulse pattern generation for STED microscopy and on artifact free, nanosecond time-resolved multispecies STED-FCS. Additionally, 4 posters will be shown during the conferences poster sessions; one of them presenting a novel time-resolved spectroscopy set-up allowing in vivo determination of the concentration of fluorescent tracers.
