PicoQuant releases a polarization extension for laser scanning microscopes

The new polarization unit allows to measure fluorescence anisotropy

PicoQuant GmbH has released a polarization extension for its upgrade kit for confocal laser scanning microscopes (LSM). Since several years, time-resolved fluorescence measurements can be performed with commercially available LSM that have been upgraded with a suited upgrade kit. With the new extension, upgraded microscopes can now also perform polarization measurements.

PicoQuant combines optical microscope with atomic force microscope

The synchronized acquisition of fluorescence lifetime and atomic force images makes new investigation schemes feasible

PicoQuant GmbH, specialist in single photon counting applications, announces the successful combination of PicoQuants time-resolved confocal fluorescence microscope MicroTime 200 with Brukers BioScope Catalyst Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). The combination of these two systems enables simultaneous recordings of AFM and optical images of the same sample region and makes new investigation schemes in the field of live cell imaging feasible.

Tunable bandpass filter available for the MicroTime 200

Filters offer wavelength tunability over a wide range of wavelengths

Tunable bandpass filters are now available for the MicroTime 200. The tunable bandpass filters can be inserted in the detection beam path of the MicroTime 200. They offer wavelength tunability over a wide range of wavelengths by manually adjusting the angle of incidence. Different filters cover the wavelength from 440 nm to 700 nm with a fixed spectral bandpass around 17 nm.

New picosecond pulsed diode lasers at 500 nm and 510 nm by PicoQuant

The new green lasers open the door for new applications in Life and Material Sciences

PicoQuant GmbH announces the release of the long-awaited 500 nm and 510 nm picosecond pulsed diode laser heads. For the first time, green laser emission is not generated by wavelength conversion techniques, but directly generated by a semiconductor laser diode. The availability of the new wavelengths opens the door for entirely new applications in bioanalytics, biochemistry, genetics, semiconductor characterisation and quality control.

PicoQuant´s FLIM & FCS Upgrade Kit now supports Zeiss LSM780 and Leica SP2

The company has extended the compatibility of its upgrade kit to support laser scanning microscopes from Zeiss and Leica

PicoQuant GmbH, specialist in single photon counting applications has extended the compatibility of its upgrade kit for laser scanning microscopes (LSMs). The kit that upgrades microscopes towards Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) and Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS), now also supports upgrades of the Zeiss LSM780 and the established Leica SP2 confocal laser scanning microscopes (CLSM).
