PicoQuant will showcase the new picosecond pulsed supercontinuum Solea at Photonics West 2014

The spectrum of the tunable laser source spans from 480 nm to 700 nm

Solea - supercontinuum laserPicoQuant GmbH will present the new supercontinuum laser Solea at Photonics West 2014, held February 1-6 in San Franscico, CA, USA. The tunable picosecond laser source gives users unprecedented capabilities such as full wavelength tunability and free triggering. It can be operated at a number of user-selectable internal repetition rates or even be externally triggered at any repetition rate between 1 MHz and 40 MHz. Any single wavelength between 480 nm and 700 nm can be selected.

VisIR preview - high power IR laser moduleA further highlight on display will be a technical preview of the recently developed high power IR laser module VisIR. The picosecond infrared laser emits at 766 nm at variable repetition rates between 1 MHz and 80 MHz. The final average output reaches up to 500 mW at 80 MHz repetition rate with pulse widths as short as 100 ps FWHM.

Interested visitors will be able to see PicoQuant's recent developments and to discuss projects with the company's senior scientists at the following booths:

BiOS exhibition
February 1 - 2, 2014
booth # 8623

Photonics West exhibition
February 4 - 6, 2014
booth # 4721 (North Hall) and
booth # 623 (South Hall)

SPIE Photonics West is not only famous for the far-reaching impact of the products seen in the exhibition halls, but also for new exciting scientific results presented during the conferences.
