High bit rate Quantum Random Number Generator service started

The generator developed by PicoQuant GmbH and the the Nano-Optics groups of HU delivers random numbers over the internet

PicoQuant GmbH and the Nano-Optics groups at the Department of Physics of Humboldt University, Berlin have started a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) that is based on the quantum randomness of photon arrival times. It provides a bit rate with up to 150 Mbits/s over USB. Interested persons are invited to test and use the generated randomness on the website of the Humboldt University at http://qrng.physik.hu-berlin.de. The service is free of charge but requires registration.

PicoQuant to present new fully automated spectrometer at Photonics West in San Francisco

The fluorescence lifetime spectrometer with steady-state option makes picosecond timing easy

PicoQuant GmbH, specialist in the field of Single Photon Counting Applications, will introduce three new products at SPIE Photonics West from January 22 to 27, 2011 in San Francisco, California: the new fully automated fluorescence lifetime and steady-state spectrometer FluoTime 300, a new yellow picosecond pulsed laser with variable repetition rate and the τ-SPAD, a new single photon counting module for timing applications.

TCSPC System “HydraHarp 400” now with up to 8 channels

Each channel is based on a novel time digitizer with 1 ps resolution, a processing rate of 12.5 million counts per second

PicoQuant announces an extended version of the multichannel Picosecond Event Timer and Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting system “HydraHarp 400” that can now accommodate up to eight independent input channels.

Picosecond Pulsed Diode Lasers at 450 nm and 635 nm

PicoQuant GmbH has again extended the already large number of available wavelengths

PicoQuant GmbH has again extended the already large number of available wavelengths of picosecond pulsed diode lasers by the release of a new laser head at 450 nm and a very much improved laser head at 635 nm. Both laser heads can be controlled by the established laser drivers of the PDL Series.

Picosecond Pulsed Diode Laser Head at 531 nm

New laser is based on a master-oscillator fibre-amplifier (MOFA) concept with frequency conversion

PicoQuant GmbH announces the release of the long-awaited 531 nm (“green”) picosecond pulsed diode laser head. The new green diode laser (“LDH-P-FA-530”) is based on a master-oscillator fibre-amplifier (MOFA) concept with frequency conversion.
