PicoQuant to hold 18th International Single Molecule Workshop

The annual event will bring together researchers working on ultrasensitive optical detection down to the single molecule level

Poster session during the workshop in 2011The 18th International Workshop on “Single Molecule Spectroscopy and Ultra Sensitive Analysis in the Life Sciences” will be held from September 5 to 7, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. The workshop provides an interdisciplinary platform for users as well as developers from Physics, Chemistry and Biology to exchange experience and report their recent findings and developments in the field of ultrasensitive optical detection down to the single molecule level and below the classical diffraction limit.

Seven distinguished researchers will present their recent findings in the field. Contributed oral and poster presentations complete the official program. A welcome reception and a dinner give participants the opportunity to meet the invited speakers and the other attendees. Invited speakers are Sohail Ahmed, Kankan Bhattacharyya, Mike Heilemann, Edward Lemke, Everett Lipman, Tetsuro Majima and Ulrich Nienhaus.

Abstracts can be submitted until May 31, 2012.
Registration is open until August 15, 2012.
