To promote scientific work in various fields, PicoQuant organizes yearly meetings such as the single molecule workshop and quantum symposium, which bring together established scientists with upcoming researchers. In collaboration with world-leading scientists, PicoQuant also holds courses that provide in-depth introductions into time-resolved spectroscopy and microscopy.

Time-resolved Microscopy Course

Our course provides an in-depth introduction to the world of time-resolved fluorescence microscopy with a focus on life science applications. The program includes theoretical as well as practical sessions, discussions, and opportunities for networking. It combines a series of lectures by experts in the field with practical sessions on systems from market-leading companies.

Single Molecule Workshop

Since 1995, PicoQuant organizes the annual Single Molecule Spectroscopy (SMS) Workshop, which brings together the top researchers in the field. With this event, we continue to encourage the exchange of knowledge and new ideas between the experts in SMS, interested scientists from other fields and potential users from life and materials science or industry.

Time-resolved Fluorescence Course

The International Course on "Principles and Applications of Time-resolved Fluorescence" is intended for individuals wishing an in-depth introduction to the principles of fluorescence spectroscopy and its applications to the Materials and Life Sciences. The course consists of lectures as well as instrumentation and software hands-on training.
