PicoQuant: Science in your labs
"Advanced fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy: from cells to single molecules"
June 10, 2013 in San Diego, USA
Joint symposium between PicoQuant GmbH and The Scripps Research Institute

Summary
The single day event focussed on latest developments in single molecule and fluorescence lifetime measurements and their application even with / for cellular samples. The topics covered during this symposium included basic single molecule detection techniques, fluorescence microscopy, Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM), Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET), Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS), superresolution microscopy and other advanced fluorescence methods.
The aim of this symposium was to stimulate discussion in this field and to give an introduction to current research activities in the field of single molecule detection (SMD) and Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM).
