LSM Upgrade kit for FLIM and FCS

The following recorded presentations present features and applications of the LSM Upgrade Kit. The first part introduces the fluorescence lifetime as an additional parameter that can be used to study a specific sample. The talk describes basic principles of the underlying technology to measure the fluorescence lifetime (Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting) and gives a brief introduction on the data analysis. Two dedicated presentations show features and application examples of Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM), Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) and Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS).
