Ultraviolet to Infrared Picosecond Pulsed Laser Diode Heads |
LDH Series |
Ultraviolet to infrared pulsed diode laser heads, that produce light pulses as short as 50 ps (FWHM) are available for the PDL 800-B, PDL 800-D, PDL 808 "Sepia" and PDL 828 "Sepia II". Wavelengths from 375 nm to 1990 nm are available. These laser heads include collimating optics and can be optionally fitted with single- or multimode optical fibres.
The LDH 390 and LDH 420 are now available. The new laser heads emit around 390 nm and 420 nm with pulsewidths less than 70 ps and can generate up to 5 mW average power at 40 MHz repetition rate (30 mW in the optional continuous-wave mode).

Picosecond Pulsed Laser Diode Heads (UV / green / red / infrared) |
LDH-FA Series |
The picosecond pulsed laser diode heads of the LDH-FA Series are based on a Master Oscillator Fiber Amplifier (MOFA) concept with optional frequency conversion. The laser heads are available at 266 nm, 531 nm, 766 nm, 1064 nm and 1530 nm. They offer pulse widths <100 ps and average powers up to 1000 mW (depending on wavelength). The output is either a collimated beam or a polarization maintaining single mode fibre with FC/APC fiber connector. All laser heads can be controlled by the PDL 828 'Sepia II', the PDL 800-D or the PDL 800-B.
A UV laser head (266 nm) generates >1mW average output power at 80 MHz repetition rate with <80 ps pulse width.

Tunable Picosecond Laser |
Solea |
SOLEA is a stand alone, computer controlled, supercontinuum light laser source with an unmatched flexibility in repetition rates. It can be operated at various, freely adjustable repetition rates between 1 MHz and 40 MHz via internal or even external triggering. The laser emits from a polarisation maintaining single mode fibre with a usable spectral range between 480 nm and 700 nm. The SOLEA is delivered with an integrated dedicated tunable bandpass filter with a high side mode suppression ratio of greater than OD 5 (50 dB), which makes it even suitable for single molecule detection. The average spectral density of the laser output without the bandpass filter is greater than 1mW/nm. After the tunable bandpass filter, the pulse width at any wavelength is <150 ps (FWHM). |

Sub-Nanosecond Pulsed LED Heads |
PLS Series |
The PLS pulsed light sources produce light pulses as short as 500 picosecond (FWHM). Wavelengths from 245 nm to 600 nm are available. Peak powers up to 1.5 mW can be emitted. These LED heads include collimating optics and can be optionally fitted with bandpass filters. They achieve optimum performance with the PDL 800-B, PDL 800-D, PDL 808 "Sepia" or PDL 828 "Sepia II" driver.
A LED emitting at 360 nm (PLS 360) is now available.

Multichip laser module for PDL 828 |
SML 828 |
The SML 828 is a special module for the PDL 828 "Sepia II". It is targeted at applications that require more power than available from a standard LDH Series laser head. The SML 828 includes four individual laser diodes on a common control board that can work in either picosecond pulsed or continuous wave mode. The emission from the four laser diodes is combined into a common multimode fiber. The final output pulse of the SML 828 features pulse widths in the picosecond range, but with a much higher output power than a standard laser head. |

Pulsed Diode Laser Driver with CW Option |
PDL 800-D |
The PDL 800-D pulsed diode laser driver is a single channel driver for the picosecond diode laser heads or LEDs producing pulses at repetition rates from single shot to 80 MHz. It also allows to generate cw emission with the latest generation of laser heads. The output wavelength can be changed quickly by simply changing the laser / LED head. The driver allows to vary the output power of the connected laser head and provides a synchronization signal with each laser pulse. |

Pulsed Diode Laser Driver |
PDL 800-B |
The PDL 800-B pulsed diode laser driver is a single channel driver for the picosecond diode laser heads or LEDs producing pulses at repetition rates from single shot to 80 MHz. The output wavelength can be changed quickly by simply changing the laser / LED head. The driver allows to vary the output power of the connected laser head and provides a synchronization signal with each laser pulse. |

Computer Controlled Multichannel Pulsed Diode Laser Driver "Sepia II" |
PDL 828 |
The PDL 828 "Sepia II" is a completely computer controlled multichannel pulsed diode laser driver designed to work with up to 8 picosecond diode laser heads or LEDs. The modular system is designed for various operational modes (bursts, sequences, ...) and allows also cw operation of the connected laser heads, which can e.g. be used for FCS. The main oscillator provides a widely adjustable repetition rate between 195 kHz and 80 MHz and can also be triggered externally. Additionally, each laser driver module also has its own internal oscillator with six fixed repetition rates to enable operation independent from the main oscillator module. |

Diode Laser for Nanosecond Pulses with Programmable Shape |
PPL 400 |
The PPL 400 is a stand-alone, computer controlled laser system for the generation of nanosecond pulses with programmable pulse shapes. Pulse shapes are generated by combination of variable flat top square pulses and sawtooths with adjustable amplitude and slew rate. This allows to generate a large variety of pulse shapes, from the very basic flat top square pulse to highly sophisticated multipeak patterns. |
