PicoQuant will showcase the new picosecond pulsed supercontinuum Solea at Photonics West 2014

The spectrum of the tunable laser source spans from 480 nm to 700 nm

PicoQuant GmbH will present the new supercontinuum laser Solea at Photonics West 2014, held February 1-6 in San Franscico, CA, USA. The tunable picosecond laser source gives users unprecedented capabilities such as full wavelength tunability and free triggering. It can be operated at a number of user-selectable internal repetition rates or even be externally triggered at any repetition rate between 1 MHz and 40 MHz. Any single wavelength between 480 nm and 700 nm can be selected.

The new laser system Solea gives users unprecedented capabilities such as full wavelength tunability and free triggering

PicoQuant, the global leader in pulsed laser systems, Time-correlated Single Photon Counting electronics (TCSPC) and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy systems, has chosen NKT Photonics A/S (NKT), the pioneer of nonlinear fibers and supercontinuum lasers as a strategic partner for the new Solea laser, a tuneable picosecond pulsed laser.

New TCSPC system software for PicoHarp 300

A programmable time offset in the new version 3.0 replaces adjustable cable delays

A new data acquisition software is now available for the PicoHarp 300 Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) system from PicoQuant. The new version 3.0 provides a programmable time offset in the sync input to replace adjustable cable delays (4 ps resolution, ±100 ns) and a programmable time offset in all PHR 800 router channels to tune for relative delay (4 ps resolution, ±8 ns). It also provides a new future proof file format and export of histograms directly to ASCII files as well as various improvements in usage and user interface.

SymPhoTime 64 version 1.5 released

Several new software features make the software package even more versatile

PicoQuant has released a new version of the SymPhoTime 64 software. It includes several new features like frame-by-frame FLIM analysis for LSM generated images, a new fitting model for FRET (multiexponential donor), intensity gated TCSPC analysis (time trace), automated fitting (batch mode) for FCS and TCSPC, and as a special feature pattern matching for imaging analysis.

PicoQuant introduces non-descanned detection with excellent timing performance

The new set-up with Hybrid-PMT detectors is available with one or two detection channels for laser scanning microscopes

PicoQuant, specialist in single photon counting applications, presents a new type of non-descanned detection (NDD) for its FLIM and FCS upgrade kit for laser scanning microscopes (LSMs). The recently developed NDD set-up includes a large core liquid light guide with high fluorescence transmission and Hybrid-PMT detectors that feature an excellent timing performance. It is available in a single or dual channel detector configuration and can be attached to both inverse and upright microscopes.
