Aims and Purposes

The workshop is dedicated to interested students and scientists from Life Sciences having a certain background in fluorescence and confocal microscopy and looking to extend their knowledge to the benefits of time-resolved methods. In the afternoon we provide the opportunity to see state-of-the-art instruments working and give a detailed explanation of key features by highly recognized instructors.

Product demo

Product demos that will be offered include:

• MicroTime 200: time-resolved confocal microscope with single molecule sensitivity
• FluoTime 200: modular fluorescence lifetime spectrometer
• SPCE-Setup: Surface Plasmons Assisted Microscopy (SPAM) combines time-resolved microscopy with nanotechnologies, utilizing surface plasmon resonance (SPR) excitation and surface plasmons-coupled emission (SPCE).

All places for the product demonstations are already taken. If you are interested, you can nonetheless be put on stand-by in case someone cancels his registration.

The registration for the workshop is closed.

Location

The workshop takes place at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC), Center for Commercialization of Fluorescence Technologies (CCFT), 3500 Camp Bowie Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
