The recent years have seen a vastly increasing interest in the detection and spectroscopy of single molecules. Especially in genetics, molecular and cell biology, as well as in high-throughput screening and diagnostics, Single Molecule Detection (SMD) under biologically native conditions became an important research tool. The following list shall give the researcher a survey of currently recommended events.
Upcoming SMD events:
- June 10, 2013PicoQuant: Science in your labs, The Scripps Research Institute, San Diego, CA, USAThe single day event on "Advanced Fluorescence Spectroscopy and Microscopy: From Cells to Single Molecules" is a joint symposium between PicoQuant GmbH and The Scripps Research Institute. It focusses on latest developments in single molecule and fluorescence lifetime measurements and their application even with/for cellular samples.
- September 4 - 6, 201319th International Workshop on "Single Molecule Spectroscopy and Ultra Sensitive Analysis in the Life Sciences", Berlin, GermanyThe aim of this workshop is to provide an interdisciplinary platform for users as well as developers from Physics, Chemistry and Biology to share their experience, exchange information and report their recent findings and developments in the field of ultrasensitive optical detection and microscopy down to the single molecule level.
